Jimmy “Jazz” Hayes’ Kahlua Chocolate Cake

Do you love chocolate? Then you'll enjoy the recipe for this delectable food gift I received from a fan at my 5th annual Christmas show at Yoshi’s. This cake blew me away! Jimmy, thank you for sharing your Kahlua Cake recipe with the Mailbag. Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 Package of Devil’s food or chocolate cake mix
1 Package of instant chocolate pudding
1 Cup sour cream
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup vegetable or canola oil
1 Cup Kahlua or Bailey’s Cream
1 Package chocolate chips

• EXCEPT for the chocolate chips — mix all ingredients in large bowl until smooth
• Mix in chocolate chips
• Pour batter into loaf pans or a bundt pan
• Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour.
(Make sure loaf has crowned and batter cooked through.)
• Serve warm so that chocolate chips are melted.
• Enjoy with a warm beverage of your choice

Jimmy says, “For those serious bakers, make a layer or sheet cake with a mocha cream frosting.”
